USCCS PARTNER COLLEGIATE CLUB SOCCER KICKS OFF FOURTH SPRING SEASON THIS WEEKEND
Record 107 Clubs Will Play Under CCS Banner Culminating in Finals April 16-18 at River City Sportsplex in Richmond, Va.
NEW YORK (January 23, 2026) - US College Club Soccer (USCCS) partner Collegiate Club Soccer (CCS) will kick off its fourth season this weekend with matches in Florida and Georgia.
The premier spring league for East Coast college club soccer, CCS has grown in every year of its existence and will boast 100 clubs spanning from Florida all the way to New York in 2026. Recognizing a void in the spring calendar for college club teams in the Southeast, CCS was launched in 2023 with 27 total men’s and women’s clubs in Florida and Georgia, culminating with the University of South Florida Men and University of Tampa Women winning the inaugural championships at the CCS Finals held in Tallahassee, Fla.
Just one year later, a merger with another spring league in the northeast saw CCS more than double in size, bringing the total number of participating men’s and women’s clubs to 67. Another competitive season ended with the University of Tampa repeating as champions on the women’s side, while the University of Miami Men claimed their first title at the Finals held in Virginia Beach, Va.
Offering high-quality competition, the expanded footprint up the Atlantic seaboard helped attract more clubs, bringing the total number to 79 in 2025. On the men’s side, Virginia Tech became the first team outside of Florida to win a CCS title, while Florida Atlantic broke up Tampa’s early dominance to claim the women’s crown at the Finals held in Richmond, Va.
The 2026 spring campaign will now see 100 men’s and women’s clubs from 13 different states play under the Collegiate Club Soccer banner. The Men’s competition has a total of 73 teams playing across 11 divisions, while there are 34 Women’s teams spread across six Divisions.
For a second-straight year, USCCS and Capelli Sport will again support the 2026 CCS Finals which will again be held April 16-18 at River City Sportsplex in Richmond, Va.
